To our little China doll: We have been praying for you for such a long time, and God has finally blessed us with a child. It has been such a long time, and we have been wanting to have you here with us. We are looking forward to watching you grow, but not too quickly. After all of the paperwork and time that it has taken to get to this point, just seeing your picture brought overwhelming joy into our hearts. We want you to know that even though you were adopted from another place that you will be loved and cared for as if you were our own from birth. God has a special plan for you and we are very happy that it is going to begin with us. We are looking towards that day when Jesus will tug on your heart and that you accept Him as your Lord and Savior. I know that you will be a blessing to us and those around you. You brought a smile to our faces during a time of sorrow. When your great grandmother was on this earth, she was very happy to know that one day you were going to be a part of our family. And on the day of her funeral, we received the phone call and your beautiful little picture letting us know that God had finally brought you into our lives. On the heels of sorrow came happiness. We are so blessed to have you coming into our lives during this time. The only thing I wish is that Gama could have seen and held you before she went to be with Jesus. I do know that one day she will have the chance to meet you, but we take comfort in the fact that right now she is doing better than she ever did while she was on this earth and she is in the presence of Jesus - what better place can there be. God has such amazing timing. I know that all of your grandparents are very excited to have you coming home and that you will probably get completely spoiled by them. That is just part of being a child with a loving family. All of your aunts, uncles, and cousins, those that are biological and those that are really good friends, are ready to see how much you will change our lives and their own. Your church family has been praying for you and is ready to see you smile and to see what kind of young lady that you will grow up to be. You are loved more than you may ever know. We are so excited about the time when we will get to be with you and bring you home. You look so beautiful. We are excited to have your energy and smile to brighten up this house and our lives. So as we wait patiently to come for you, we will continue making this house a place where you can feel safe. Welcome to our family, Kayli. Love, Your Mommy and Daddy
